Tor Kenward Family Wines is the personal project of Tor Kenward, former vice president of Beringer Vineyards, who leveraged decades of industry relationships to secure fruit from some of the most famous vineyard sites in Napa and Sonoma for a label that produces single-vineyard wines of extraordinary quality. Founded in 2001 after his retirement from Beringer, the label benefits from Tor's unique position: a man who knew every major grower in the valley and could secure allocations that new producers spend years trying to obtain.

The winery sources from elite vineyard partners, with single-vineyard Cabernets from Beckstoffer To Kalon, Hudson Vineyard Chardonnay from Carneros, and Pinot Noir from premium Sonoma Coast sites. The sourcing is the label's greatest asset, reflecting relationships built over Tor's decades at the top of the Napa Valley wine establishment. Each vineyard-designate bottling showcases a specific site's terroir with clarity.

Winemaker Jeff Ames produces single-vineyard wines that let each source speak with minimal winemaker interference.
